Full transcript.
A respectful workplace is built through everyday choices. Make room for others and include them in the conversation. Put distractions aside so you can listen. Share the information colleagues need for their work, and give them time to explain their ideas. Disagree with the idea, not the person. Handle company information carefully, share it only with authorized people, and put sensitive documents away when the meeting ends.
When something feels wrong, speak up through the reporting channels in your organization’s code. Describe what you observed, stick to the facts, and ask for guidance. A manager should listen without dismissing the concern and explain the next steps. Respect privacy and avoid spreading rumors. Never retaliate against someone for raising a concern in good faith. If you are unsure what to do, check your code before acting.
