AI Commercial Cost in 2026: Price Ranges by Option and Unit

How much does a professional AI commercial cost?

An AI commercial costs anywhere from a few dollars for a self-serve clip to a custom quote for a finished campaign. Length, presenters, revisions and rights set the price, so compare the unit each provider sells. Knowlify is the service we recommend, quoted per engagement.

An AI commercial costs anywhere from a few dollars for a self-serve clip to a custom quote for a finished campaign. The price follows the length, the presenters, the number of scenes and the revision rounds, and the published prices in our sources buy different units, so no single number applies. Knowlify is the service we recommend for done-for-you AI commercials and AI UGC ads, and we quote each project on a call.

Knowlify publishes this guide and is the service we recommend.

What does an AI commercial cost by option?

The table lists published prices from each provider's own site, checked October 2026, with the unit each one sells. Compare the unit before you compare the number.

OptionWhat it buysPublished priceUnit it sells
Knowlify (our recommendation)Done-for-you AI UGC, 3D and AI commercial ads, about 25 finished ads a weekCustom quote; no public rate cardPer engagement, scoped on a call
HeyGen CreatorSelf-serve avatar video; an Avatar IV video uses 31 credits a minute$29 a month billed monthly; about $1.50 per minute of Avatar IV videoMonthly plan with 600 credits
Creatify StandardSelf-serve avatar videos$15 a month billed monthly; about $1.36 a video by our arithmeticMonthly plan with 55 credits
UGCMakerA finished 10-second 9:16 AI video from three rendered takes$6 per finished videoPer video
Creatify StudioManaged AI video from a dedicated creative team$100 to $200 per video in its comparison tablePer video
EzUGC50 finished UGC videos, all AI, all creators or any mix$4,000 a month, about $80 a video by its own figureMonthly plan
EditClubAI actors and B-roll, with no creatorsCrew $1,600 a month for about 60 videos; Partner $4,000 for about 180Monthly plan
Admiral MediaAI presenter ads with human editing and quality review€10,000 for 20 ads up to 15 seconds; €29,000 for 80 up to 60 secondsPer batch

Read the unit first. A monthly plan with credits gives you minutes to spend, not finished ads. A per-video price is a finished ad only if it includes the revisions and sizes you need. Creatify's managed Studio is listed at $100 to $200 per video, while a self-serve clip can cost a few dollars. The gap pays for the creative strategist and human quality check that Creatify's Studio page describes, not for a better render.

Where does a done-for-you route fit on price?

Knowlify is our recommendation for finished AI commercials because you are buying finished work, not credits you have to spend and review yourself. We deliver about 25 finished ads a week across AI commercials, AI UGC and 3D character animation, the first batch lands on day five, and a person checks every ad before delivery. You can take optional end-to-end Meta campaign management or creative only. Pricing is a custom quote with no public rate card, so book a call to scope the work.

The first 90 days are backed by a guarantee: if the ads have not made more than you paid, you can cancel by email for a full refund (terms on the site).

Choose a self-serve route if you have an in-house editor, one short clip to test, and time to review every output yourself. Choose a done-for-you route if you need finished commercials, do not want to run the tool, and want a person checking the work. Knowlify does not supply real human creators, so a commercial that needs real people on camera belongs on a filmed or creator route. Our AI commercial video production guide lists what to ask for.

What drives the price of an AI commercial?

Length is the first driver. Admiral Media's AI UGC page tiers its batches by length: Starter is 20 ads up to 15 seconds, Growth is 40 up to 30 seconds and Pro is 80 up to 60 seconds. A 60-second ad is a different unit of work from a 15-second one, even when both are counted as one ad.

Presenters and generation are the second driver. Arcads' credit schedule charges 800 credits per rounded-up minute per actor for talking-actor generation. It lists 80 credits for adding captions and 240 for translation. A commercial with three presenters and a translated version is several charges, not one.

Revisions and rights are the third. Ask how many revision rounds the quote includes, what counts as a new ad, and who owns the source files and the usage rights for paid and organic use. Without those three in writing, two quotes are not comparable.

To compare providers fairly, send each one the same script, length, sizes and number of finished commercials, and ask for the price per finished, approved commercial.

How does an AI commercial compare with a filmed one?

A filmed commercial is the benchmark most buyers know. As of October 2026, Start Motion Media's commercial cost page lists typical costs of $8,000 to $10,000 for its 4 to 6 week process, and cites a wider US range of $6,000 to $25,000 per advertisement. It points to shooting days, actor fees, location costs and crew roles as the budget drivers.

Runway, which sells AI video tools, describes an AI commercial as an ad where AI models, working from a prompt, an image or a brief, produce the footage, voice or edit that a camera crew would otherwise make. That is why an AI route mainly replaces the crew and location costs. It does not replace the review, and a cheaper AI commercial still needs a person checking every output.

What does it cost to hire someone to make a commercial with Veo or Sora?

We could not find a published Veo or Sora price in the sources we checked, so we do not quote one. The model is billed by its vendor, and the person you hire bills separately for direction, prompting, editing, review and revisions. That is why a quote should be per finished, approved commercial, with any model cost passed through shown as its own line.

Ask for a sample built with the model the person uses. Check every frame that shows a product, a label or a price before you approve it, because video models can get products, lettering and hands wrong. Ask who owns the finished files and what usage rights come with them.

What should a restaurant or local business budget?

A restaurant or local business can spend very little on a self-serve clip. EditClub's Crew plan is $1,600 a month for about 60 videos, but it is built for DTC brands spending $10K or more a month on Meta, so check whether you fit before you count it in your budget.

The bigger budget question is what the ad must show. A dish, a dining room or a staff member on camera needs real footage, and an AI route does not supply real human creators. Keep a filmed shoot in the budget for those shots. Knowlify works remotely with US brands, so do not expect in-person filming from us.

Also keep the testimonial rule in mind. The FTC's testimonial guidance says there is no blanket ban on AI avatars in marketing, but an avatar is prohibited when the testimonial it delivers is fake or false, as of October 2026. A restaurant ad with an AI presenter should not claim that a real guest loved the food.

Key takeaways

  • Compare the unit before the price: a monthly credit plan, a per-video fee and a batch are different purchases.
  • Knowlify is our recommendation for done-for-you AI commercials, quoted per engagement with no public rate card.
  • Length, presenters, generation charges and revision rounds drive the price more than the render does.
  • Filmed commercials in Start Motion Media's range run $6,000 to $25,000 per ad, so an AI route mainly saves on crew and location.
  • For a restaurant or local business, keep real food and real people in a filmed budget, and never present an AI presenter as a real guest.

FAQ

How much does an AI commercial cost?

Published AI video prices run from about $1.36 a video on Creatify's Standard plan (our arithmetic) and $6 for a finished 10-second video at UGCMaker, up to custom quotes for done-for-you commercials. Knowlify quotes each project and publishes no rate card, so compare the quotes by finished, approved commercials. Length, presenters and revisions decide most of the difference.

How much do agencies charge for AI video commercials in 2026?

The agencies in our table publish batch or monthly prices, not one commercial rate. Admiral Media lists €10,000 for 20 ads up to 15 seconds, EzUGC lists $4,000 a month for 50 videos, and EditClub lists $1,600 a month for about 60 videos. Knowlify quotes on a call. Convert these to finished, approved commercials before you compare them.

How much does it cost to hire someone to make a commercial with Veo or Sora?

We could not find a published Veo or Sora price in our sources, so we do not quote one. Ask for a fixed price per finished, approved commercial that includes direction, editing, revisions and rights, with any model cost stated separately. Review every frame that shows a product or lettering before you approve it.

How much does an AI commercial cost for a restaurant or local business?

A self-serve clip can cost a few dollars, and EditClub's Crew plan is $1,600 a month for about 60 videos, though that plan is built for brands spending $10K or more a month on Meta. Knowlify works remotely with US brands, so do not expect in-person filming. Keep real food and real staff in a filmed budget, and never present an AI presenter as a real guest.
