Knowlify Credits FAQ

Credits are the universal currency you use to create videos and access features on Knowlify Platform. One credit is one second of finished video. Instead of tracking complex per-feature costs, credits give you a simple, predictable way to pay for what you generate.

The number of credits you receive each month depends on your subscription tier. Here is a quick overview:

It depends on the type of credits.

• Monthly plan credits: Your credits expire at the end of the month. Unused credits do not roll over.
• Yearly plan credits: You receive the full year's worth of credits immediately upon purchase, and they expire after 12 months.
• Bonus or promotional credits: May have their own expiration terms, which will be clearly stated when you receive them.
• If you cancel your subscription, any remaining credits expire at their original expiration date, even if that is after your billing cycle ends.

Credits work on Knowlify Platform, where you generate videos yourself. Knowlify Studio is our done-for-you service and is priced separately. One-time signup credits are for the Platform only. Book a call for a Studio quote.

Credits are charged based on video duration, measured in 10-second increments. Base text-to-video is 1 credit per second of finished video. Heavier pipelines (like document analysis) cost more. You will always see the cost before any credits are deducted.

In plain terms: text or prompt to video is 1 credit per second. Document to video is 3 credits per second. URL or article to video is 2 credits per second.

There are several ways to add credits to your account:

• Upgrade your plan. Moving to a higher tier gives you more monthly credits.
• Purchase credit packs. Buy additional packs anytime through your subscription page or on pricing.
• Claim free credits. Use free credit links when available.

You will not lose credits. When you confirm a project, the required credits are temporarily frozen. If the generation fails or you abort it, those credits are automatically returned to your balance. No action is needed on your part.
