If you see smoke or fire, stop and alert people nearby. Raise the alarm using your site’s procedure, then leave by the nearest safe exit. Do not investigate the equipment or return for bags and laptops. Close doors behind you if safe, without delaying your escape. Follow the marked route and your evacuation plan. If smoke or fire blocks your route, use a safe alternative.

Use the designated evacuation stairs, not an ordinary elevator. Walk steadily, use the handrail, and keep the route clear. Follow your site’s assistance arrangements if someone needs help. Once outside, move directly to the assembly point and check in so everyone can be accounted for. Report anyone missing and their last known location. Call emergency services from safety if needed. Stay outside until authorities say it is safe to return.
